The most powerful off-road vehicles the world has to offer meet up in this desert racing title from Activision.

Much in the same vein as titles such as MotorStorm and Pure, World Championship Off Road Racing pits a wide selection of vehicle types against one another at the same time. Inspired by Baja Peninsula locations, each race constitutes a certain section of the sparse environment, slowly moving players across the Baja Peninsula in aggressive, fast-paced races. There are over 90 different vehicles included in this title across six official vehicle classes, including trucks, ATVs and dirt bikes. Each of these vehicles will need to be carefully maintained during each stage, as each is vulnerable to gradual damage as parts slowly degrade and fall apart.

Three game modes make up the bulk of World Championship Off Road Racing. Career mode gives players five different event types, including time trials and head-to-head qualifiers, and Exhibition lets player pick their vehicle and stage for a quick race. An online mode also allows eight players to meet up over the internet for ranked or unranked matches.
