Aside from the fact this movie has such good chemistry between the two main characters, I mean who doesn't like Jennifer Anniston, and Owen Wilson to begin with, and it also brings all of us to a spot we've been to before. I've never met a puppy who did not make it their mission to, chew, destroy, tear up, irritate, and exasperate at some point in their life.
Marley & Me is a movie for the dog lover's in all of us. It appeals to children and adults alike. This movie just invites you in and puts you on the roller coaster of emotions experienced by the characters involved. Movies that you can personally relate to are the movies you want to have in your collection.
Finding a movie that everyone in the house can watch together is the kind of movie that Marley & Me is. The viewer cannot help but to get swept up in the highs and the lows, the laughter and the sorrow. Yes, there is some sorrow at the end but even though some people may feel that is not appropriate for young children to witness, unfortunately it is, because it is a part of life
